Etymotic ER-3C Insert Earphones, 10 Ohm

ER-3C Earphones have incorporated "touch-proof" electrical connection for safety. They duplicate ER-3A smooth frequency response and provide 30+ dB isolation between ears; reduces the need for masking. They reduce test/retest variability compared to supra-aural earphones and eliminate test errors due to collapsed ear canals. RECD (Real-Ear-to-Coupler-Difference) measurements are simplified. May be calibrated in a 2-cc coupler, occluded ear simulator, or a 0.4-cc coupler.

Earphones use the E-A-RLink replacement tips.
